Fabricator-welder wanted in Woodbury County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Woodbury County, Iowa. You will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
