Dumper truck operator wanted in Wythe County

Join our team: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in Wythe County, Virginia. The job is at a road-building project. On a typical shift you will read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Rotating shifts.
