Gas commissioning technician wanted in Chittenden County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Chittenden County, Vermont. The role involves fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
