Pressman — Columbia County

Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Columbia County, Georgia. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Day to day you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 5+ years on the tools preferred.
