Machine operator (earthworks) — Roosevelt County

Now hiring: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Roosevelt County, Montana. Day-to-day duties: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter Requirements: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
