Join our team: horizontal milling machine operator (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Botetourt County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
