Tree and shrub pruner wanted in Bridgend county borough

Now hiring: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Bridgend county borough, Wales. The job is in a botanical garden. Day-to-day duties: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
