Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Coahoma County, Mississippi. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. The role involves: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
