Vacancy available: we are hiring an escalator technician in Benton County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Day-to-day duties: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
