VMC operator wanted in Dumfries and Galloway

We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. The job is at a busy machine shop. The role involves load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
