Cold room technician • Bertie County, North Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cold room technician in Bertie County, North Carolina. You will be based in an HVAC service company. Day-to-day duties: • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil Ideal candidate: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
