We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Middlesex County, New Jersey. Day-to-day duties: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
