Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in Adams County, Wisconsin. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On the job you will handle: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
