Great opportunity: scaffold fitter (West Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Pleasants County, West Virginia. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. On a typical shift you will set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
