Immediate opening: occupational health and safety officer (Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Loudoun County, Virginia. The job is at a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
