The role involves top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; write and edit G-code programs at the control; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
