We are recruiting: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Pike County, Alabama. The job is in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. The role involves make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
