Aluminium installer — Lake and Peninsula Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium installer in Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska. You will work on a residential building site. You will de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces; check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing; read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site; install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads; cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw. You should have: • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
