Port container crane operator wanted in Shelby County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Shelby County, Alabama. The job is on a busy construction site. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work Your main tasks: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Rotating shifts.
