What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces On the job you will handle: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
