Brick and block layer — Spartanburg County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools On the job you will handle: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Six days a week, one day off.
