You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Day-to-day duties: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
