Escalator technician — South Gloucestershire

We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in South Gloucestershire, England. You will be based at a busy lift company. Your main tasks: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
