Tig welder • Njikoka, Anambra State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Njikoka, Anambra State. The role involves: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Full-time with occasional weekends.
