Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Hot Spring County, Arkansas. You will work in a busy laundry. Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; give each garment a final press before packing; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
