Immediate opening: we are hiring a bench joiner in Sabon Birni, Sokoto State. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Day to day you will fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions.
