Urgent requirement: we are hiring a membrane applicator in Arlington County, Virginia. The job is in lofts and crawl spaces. Requirements: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Day-to-day duties: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding Part-time with flexible hours.
