Groundskeeper — Lagos Mainland Local Government Area

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Lagos Mainland Local Government Area, Lagos State. You will work in a botanical garden. Day to day you will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. You should have: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
