Garment machinist • Craven County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Craven County, North Carolina. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. On a typical shift you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
