Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Stafford County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard The role involves: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
