Urgent requirement: VMC operator (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in Christian County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
