GTAW welder • Stillwater County, Montana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Stillwater County, Montana. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination You will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours.
