Crane operator wanted in Terrebonne Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Current medical and eyesight certificate You will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $25 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
