Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Raleigh County, West Virginia. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery You will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production.
