Tile setter • Red River Parish, Louisiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile setter in Red River Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a bathroom renovation job. Day to day you will check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines 5+ years on the tools preferred.
