Gtaw welder • Ikara, Kaduna State

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Ikara, Kaduna State. You will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift.
