Vacancy available: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Brown County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant You should have: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Full-time, day shift.
