Now hiring: we are hiring a halal butcher in Bradford County, Florida. Your main tasks: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Six days a week, one day off.
