Great opportunity: we are hiring a head butcher in Wilkinson County, Mississippi. You will work in a supermarket meat department. Day to day you will season and marinate meat on request; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
