Bar bender and fixer wanted in Union County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Union County, Ohio. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. On a typical shift you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 3+ years on the tools preferred.
