Power press operator wanted in Union County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power press operator in Union County, South Dakota. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. You will load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; record output and downtime on the production sheet. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Performance bonus on top of base pay.
