Immediate opening: fire and safety officer (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Grimes County, Texas. You will work at a manufacturing plant. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Day-to-day duties: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Rotating shifts.
