Excavator operator wanted in Carteret County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an excavator operator in Carteret County, North Carolina. You will work at a road and highway construction project. What we are looking for: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones The role involves: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
