Gas meter installer wanted in Calvert County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Calvert County, Maryland. The role involves: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
