RCC mason — Chelan County

You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods On the job you will handle: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
