Incoming goods inspector — Waldo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Waldo County, Maine. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. You will calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing 1+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
