Heavy goods vehicle driver — Person County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Person County, North Carolina. The job is at a container freight yard. On the job you will handle: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery Requirements: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
