Furniture maker wanted in Nassau County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture maker in Nassau County, New York. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. The role involves erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions. You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists 3+ years on the tools preferred. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
