Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Bourbon County, Kansas. The role involves: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
