Urgent requirement: we are hiring a roofing technician in Grant Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Day-to-day duties: • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing Part-time with flexible hours.
